The present book focuses on the main conceptual framework and the crucial components of the electronic learning environments. The author will offer a definition of the concept of electronic learning environments and present an interdisciplinary approach regarding the learning environment in the 21-th century. The argumentation display a theory on the essential technological dimension of the “new cognitive habitus” along with providing a system- oriented definition of the e-learning concept. Furthermore it outline a possible interpretations of the role of science and technology in the educational process and delineate the interrelations between pedagogy and brain development in the cultural evolution.
